Background

Lucas Cheah is the COO and Head of Product at StarryTrader, where he leads product strategy and operations. A finance and economics student recently committed to Drexel University in Pennsylvania, Lucas brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial drive and institutional credibility with experience spanning investment banking, venture capital, and YouTube partnerships. Once on campus, he will be setting up StarryTrader's Pennsylvania operations. Outside of work, Lucas enjoys reading, playing basketball, video games, and spending time with his loved ones.

Responsibilities

Serves as second in command across all business functions.
Owns the end-to-end product design process — from user research and wireframing through to in-app learning experience design.
Manages the full marketing material pipeline with consistent, on-brand output on a weekly cadence.
Oversees visual content, infographics, and educational explainer assets across social and in-app.
Leads competitor research and market trend analysis to inform product and content strategy.
Coordinates cross-functional operations across engineering, marketing, and communications.
Manages brand consistency across the app, social, website, and PR.
Owns the content calendar and ensures all output aligns with StarryTrader's tone.
